What is PM Kisan Samman Nidhi?
Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) is a central government scheme launched on February 24, 2019, by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare. The scheme provides direct income support of ₹6,000 per year to all landholding farmer families across India, paid in three equal instalments of ₹2,000 each directly into their Aadhaar-linked bank accounts.
Since its launch, the Government of India has disbursed over ₹3.69 lakh crore to farmers across 21 instalments. The 21st instalment, released on November 19, 2025, alone transferred approximately ₹18,000 crore to nearly 9 crore farmers nationwide — fully digitally, with zero middlemen.

The scheme releases money in three windows every year. Here is the latest instalment history:

Who is Eligible?

- ✘ Tenant farmers (land must be in your name)
The government has flagged cases for re-verification: farmers who obtained land ownership after February 1, 2019, and households where more than one family member is receiving benefits. Payments in such cases are paused until field verification is complete.
How to Register — Step by Step
Go to pmkisan.gov.in → Farmers Corner → New Farmer Registration. You can also use the PM-KISAN mobile app available on Google Play Store.
Choose Rural or Urban Farmer registration. Enter your Aadhaar number, select your state, enter the captcha and click Search.
Enter your name, bank account details, IFSC code, address, and land details (survey number, khata number, area). Make sure your name matches your Aadhaar exactly.
eKYC is mandatory to receive instalments. You can do it via OTP on the portal, Face Authentication on the mobile app, or biometric verification at your nearest CSC (Common Service Centre).
Your state government verifies your land records. Once approved, ₹2,000 is directly credited to your bank account. Check status at any time on the portal.

What to Do if You Haven’t Received Payment?
Visit Beneficiary Status page and enter your Aadhaar, mobile, or registration number to see if payment is pending or failed.
Incomplete eKYC is the most common reason for payment delays. Do it via OTP on the portal, or visit the nearest CSC for biometric verification.
Your bank account must be linked to your Aadhaar. Visit your bank branch with your Aadhaar card if it is not linked.
Use the Grievance/Help Desk section on pmkisan.gov.in or call 155261. Your grievance is forwarded directly to the district nodal officer.

ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಮಂತ್ರಿ ಕಿಸಾನ್ ಸಮ್ಮಾನ್ ನಿಧಿ (PM-KISAN) ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 24, 2019 ರಂದು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿತು. ಭೂ ಮಾಲೀಕತ್ವ ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರೈತ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳಿಗೆ ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ₹6,000 ನೇರವಾಗಿ ಆಧಾರ್ ಲಿಂಕ್ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಖಾತೆಗೆ ಜಮಾ ಆಗುತ್ತದೆ — ₹2,000 ರ ಮೂರು ಕಂತುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ.
2019 ರಿಂದ ಈವರೆಗೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರ 21 ಕಂತುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ₹3.69 ಲಕ್ಷ ಕೋಟಿಗೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಹಣವನ್ನು ರೈತರ ಖಾತೆಗಳಿಗೆ ವರ್ಗಾಯಿಸಿದೆ. ನವೆಂಬರ್ 19, 2025 ರಂದು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾದ 21ನೇ ಕಂತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ₹18,000 ಕೋಟಿ ಅಂದಾಜು 9 ಕೋಟಿ ರೈತರ ಖಾತೆಗೆ ತಲುಪಿದೆ.

pmkisan.gov.in ತೆರೆಯಿರಿ → Farmers Corner → New Farmer Registration ಕ್ಲಿಕ್ ಮಾಡಿ. ಅಥವಾ Google Play ನಿಂದ PM-KISAN ಅಪ್ಲಿಕೇಶನ್ ಡೌನ್ಲೋಡ್ ಮಾಡಿ.
ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಅಥವಾ ನಗರ ರೈತ ನೋಂದಣಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿ. ಆಧಾರ್ ನಂಬರ್ ಹಾಕಿ, ರಾಜ್ಯ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿ, ಕ್ಯಾಪ್ಚಾ ಹಾಕಿ.
ಹೆಸರು, ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಖಾತೆ ವಿವರ, IFSC ಕೋಡ್, ವಿಳಾಸ, ಮತ್ತು ಭೂಮಿ ವಿವರಗಳನ್ನು (ಸರ್ವೆ ನಂಬರ್, ಖಾತಾ ನಂಬರ್) ನಮೂದಿಸಿ. ಆಧಾರ್ನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಹೆಸರು ಮತ್ತು ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಹೆಸರು ಒಂದೇ ಆಗಿರಬೇಕು.
