Located in the busy Pattabhiraman Street, Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple is a 60 year old private temple. The presiding deity of the temple is Sri Srinivasa Perumal. There is also an idol of Lord Hanuman.

Ekadasi is a very important day at the temple every month, with bhajan and kirtans being organized on that day. A number of festivals are celebrated at the temple. Navarathri is celebrated with gaiety and splendor.

Management

Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple is a private Temple managed by the Srinivasa Perumal Trust started by Shri AR Annamalai Chettiar and his wife Late Kaveri Achi.

Shri AR Annamalai Chettiar was one of the oldest residents of Trichy, and noted philanthropist associated with many organizations. He was Chairman of Chinmaya Mission, Trichy and also President of Tamil Sangam.

The day to day management of the Temple was meticulously handled by Late Kaveri Achi until 1992, and then by its Managing Trustee, Late Shri AR Annamalai Chettiar till 2007. The ARA Family continues its dedication and devotion in managing the temple even today.
